Carmine Mining was registered in Zambia in 2001. It is a purely Zambian company and has no ownership ties to any external company or organization. The company was initially set up as a mining
contracting and supply company with emphasis on the application of underground support systems.
These included roof bolts; cable anchors; cement grouts, and various more advanced compounds.
Carmine Mining is the agent in Zambia for Ictus Equipment of South Africa, a company involved in the
manufacture and sale of several grouting products. In addition, the range of products is currently being
expanded to include cement grouts with various admixtures to improve performance. This relationship
with Ictus has extended to Carmine becoming the main anchor of ictus products in Zambia and DRC.
Mining contracting Support
We have extensive and specialized expertise in areas relating to support requirements. To implement the first shotcreting contracts, we had to do extensive research on product mixes to provide required strengths, and the use of additives including fibres. This research resulted in the successful implementation of fibrecrete support at KCM leading to significant cost-saving to the mines.We have shotcrete contracts with Mopani and Lubambe copper Mines and JCHX at Mukulumpe Mine and the main NFC plant
Ictus Grout Pumps
Carmine is the sole agents for Ictus International. In addition to marketing the range of Ictus equipment, we also perform a repair, service, and have conducted numerous training sessions for our customers on these products. The grouting products include the M500 grout pumps and spares and TSL pumps for thin layer Spray as well as shotecret machines and accompanying spares. We have also become agents for MECLUBE an Italian Company that supply all kinds of lubricating pumps and accessories.
We stock fibers used in fibrecreting and supply for various contractors on the copperbelt and Northwestern Provinces

All of us must try to minimize these workplace accidents and occupational diseases. Our Agency WAOSH organizes online courses to improve human resources and raise OSH culture globally. We have students from different countries. We deliver 40 hours online basic training, and we are trying to provide them 1-2 weeks of practical training. We are looking for sensitive companies that will accept trainees for this hands-on training. We shall be glad if you accept any trainee to get OSH training in your enterprise 1-2 weeks.
